Dr. Roger and Amy Fontes love to entertain and knew they wanted to build a home in Las Vegas that would allow them to host intimate gatherings as well as large parties.
When they purchased a lot in MacDonald Highlands they also began the search for a custom home builder. They wanted one company they could work with from start to finish and guide them through every step of the way through the process.
The couple met with several builders before choosing Signature Custom Homes, a full-service design and build company specializing in creating one-of-a-kind homes with superior design and craftsmanship.
“They were willing to work with us financially and really listened to what we wanted, “ said Amy.
Signature Custom Homes’ talented design team works closely with home buyers to design a custom home that maximizes the unique characteristics of their lot as well as develop a design that is harmonious with their lifestyle and budget.
Both wanted a nice, but casual home with a lot of natural light. They did not want it to have a museum feel. And, of course, they wanted it to be functional for entertaining with an easy flow from the inside to outside.
“They nailed it 90 to 95% with only a few modifications,” explained Amy.
From the first meeting until they turned the key to open the door, the couple said working with Signature Custom Homes was a huge comfort.
Roger and Amy were very happy with their home building experience and credit the key element as Brian Plaster. They said they would wholeheartedly recommend him, and even use him again.
Brian is vice president of operations of the custom homes division of Signature Homes, one of the largest private homebuilders in the Las Vegas valley.
“Brian made the entire process a pleasure. He anticipated our every need. I can’t say enough about him. His attention to detail was amazing. He was very proactive, anticipating every need or potential problem.”
Amy and Roger moved in and a month later kicked off their new home in style with their wedding.
The couple was married on the fairway outside their backyard and then had the reception in their home. It was an intimate and personal event for 130 people.
“It was a great first entertainment event,” said Amy. “It really made our wedding special to hold it in our new home.”
“Everyone raved about the house,” she added.
